"We Want Kross" Signs Spotted On WWE Raw, But NO Chants (WWE News)

Numerous Karrion Kross signs spotted on WWE's flagship as plot thickens on possible work.

Eagle eyed viewers watching this week's episode of WWE Raw would've clocked a fair number of Karrion Kross-related signs in the live crowd. Fans in Quebec City held aloft numerous "We Want Kross" placards to let the company know exactly what they think about management letting Karrion and Scarlett's contracts tick down recently.

Further, "#WeWantKross" was still trending on X during the flagship - that trend began once Kross himself announced his departure from the market leader over the weekend, and it has sustained through until Raw. Karrion released a lengthy YouTube video detailing everything that's been going on this past Sunday.

Interestingly, and perhaps uncommonly for a pro wrestling crowd, there were no booming "We Want Kross" chants inside Quebec's Videotron Centre on Monday evening. That seemed to be a given before Raw started, especially because the hashtag would lend itself to easy chanting. It's rather surprising that loud "WE WANT KROSS! WE WANT KROSS! WE WANT KROSS!" calls didn't ring out into the night air during WWE's latest trip to Canada.

Regardless, Kross will be thankful of the support from fans who held signs high above their heads. There's still a persistent rumour that this release is all part of an elaborate work though.

Kross & Scarlett's Future Still A Mystery

Internally, there are those within WWE still "going with the idea that Karrion Kross is staying". The same likely goes for Scarlett too. Fightful Select reported that the situation is legitimate, but some remain unconvinced. Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer suggested that Karrion's scenario could mimic R-Truth's recent plight.

Ron Killings was released on 1 June. The backlash online was so severe that WWE brought Truth back rather swiftly at Money In The Bank on 7 June. At one point, Triple H even suggested that the release and comeback was all part of a masterplan that many just didn't understand.

Truth's recent booking, including a return to comedy character status on the 8 August SmackDown (which ties in with WWE's aborting John Cena's blockbuster heel turn) suggests otherwise. However, wrestling fans and the wider wrestling media as a whole are on edge following WWE's recent "ruse of the century" with new World Heavyweight Champion and ex-MITB holder Seth Rollins.

Rollins appeared to be struck down by a pesky injury at Saturday Night's Main Event in mid-July, but that was outed as a fake when he cashed in the briefcase on CM Punk to win gold at SummerSlam. So, Seth's actions and the R-Truth stuff have some believing that Kross and Scarlett will return to screens imminently as another surprise.

The fact that people are even thinking this way should be taken as a huge positive. WWE managing to keep everybody on their toes in 2025 is a good thing, basically. If it works out and bags both Kross and Scarlett fat contracts, then even better.
