To be fair, there are only so many spots at the top of the card, but watching Enzo Amore & Big Cass tangle with the Shining Stars is kind of tough.

The brash duo took WWE by storm in the early going, running roughshod over opponents, both in the ring and on the mic. Enzo & Cass teamed with John Cena at Battleground, defeating The Club. Cass competed in a fatal four-way match for the vacant Universal Championship. That’s pretty damn good for your first five months in WWE.

But the last two weeks, they’ve tangled with the Shining Stars, who spent months doing next to nothing on the roster. Granted, Primo & Epico are better off facing a team of note rather than just battling Golden Truth again (and that alone is a positive), but that doesn’t make it any less painful to see Enzo & Cass seemingly shuttled down the card.
