4. Not Buying Bo

It might be a little too early to tell for sure, but the initial gut feeling about the “new and improved” Bo Dallas is not terribly encouraging.

Dallas returned to action last week with a new attitude, but it was a somewhat confusing one. He carried a “Bo-lieve in Bo” campaign-style sign to ringside and then delivered a rhyming promo to a jobber before beating him in short order with moves that could best be described as nondescript. The most notable thing was his new finisher, Cody Rhodes’ old CrossRhodes.

The problem is that Bo isn’t a big guy, but he isn’t a flashy guy either. He’s kind of caught in-between, and it’s hard to imagine him dispatching with a “name” opponent like he did with the jobbers the last two weeks. (For contrast, look at Braun Strowman and Nia Jax and how their victories over enhancement talent should translate.)

Hopefully, this will lead to somewhere positive for Dallas, but this column is skeptical and having trouble Bo-lieving.
