Bray Wyatt’s rambling promos have worn thin with many fans after several years of toothless proclamations. The debacle that was Sunday night’s House of Horrors match certainly didn’t endear him to the fans either.

But Bray’s “introduction” to the Raw audience Monday night was nicely done, using GM Kurt Angle as a foil for Wyatt. The Eater of Worlds declared he was a cure for the ailments of Raw and asked Angle if he would allow Bray to do what he wanted or if he would stand in his way. Kurt, like any good former world champion, stood his ground, pitting himself against Wyatt.

That’s one thing Bray has never really had, an authority figure pushing down on him, acting as a counterweight. Now, it could just be more of the same, but if anyone can make something better, it’s Kurt Angle. So for that alone, we’ll give this development an “up.”
