Last week, Karl Anderson lost a singles match to Big Cass in less than two minutes, sparking criticism from this column. Monday night, Anderson lost to the much smaller Enzo Amore and it’s… a positive?

Anderson and Enzo had a competitive match, with Karl hitting several big kicks for a couple near-falls. The climax came when Cass got on the apron, drawing Luke Gallows on the opposite side. When the referee turned around to address Gallows, Cass sucker-kicked Anderson in the head, allowing Amore to get the pinfall.

Even though Anderson lost again, this time it actually showed something. Everyone expects that Gallows & Anderson (who jumped Enzo & Cass a few weeks back to start this feud) will cheat to win, but when the good guys will do it too, that raises a wrinkle in the rivalry. It makes for a bit more interesting of a match on Sunday. Would Enzo & Cass cheat again to win? The loss had some purpose, and it gave the loudmouths a little more of an edge.
