8 WWE Superstars Whose Social Media Activity Backfired
1. Seth Rollins Burns Down His Fan Support
Where do you even begin with Seth Rollins?
From a white-hot babyface who fans were clamouring to see topple Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship, to somebody who now elicits hugely negative reactions in any and every arena he enters. The way that WWE creative has handled the Rollins character hasn't helped Seth in the slightest, yet The Architect's social media usage has also proved to be a big turn off for many fans.
To think, we all thought Rollins' social media presence couldn't have gotten any worse than that time his former fiancée posted pictures of Seth's 'small package' to his Twitter. But no, The BeastSlayer has somehow managed to top that embarrassment.
It seems that whenever Seth Rollins has a phone in his hand, he just can't help himself.
Whether it was the classless move of comparing bank accounts with Will Ospreay, taking needless shots at Kenny Omega and AEW, or just generally being a bit of an ass, Rollins' intentions of standing up for his employer and his own status as one of the best wrestlers in the world have backfired spectacularly.
Whether WWE had plans to turn Seth heel anytime soon or not, the multiple-time World Champion's social media activity is doing that turn regardless.
