9 Next WWE Steps For Seth Rollins
1. Ultimate Heel Turn
Normally I’m not one to call for unnecessary changes to a
wrestler’s character, but in this case it just seems too good an opportunity to
pass up a Rollins heel turn at the end of this particular saga.
For starters, in six months’ time we’ll be seeing Finn Balor return to the fray. Given that he looked to be in line for a push as the number one babyface prior to that injury, it would be fair to assume that he’ll be picking up from where he left off once he’s fit and raring to go.
Plus, remember the underlying theme in all of this; the fact that Seth Rollins was mentored by Triple H, arguably the king of double-crosses and diabolical heel turns.
So for Rollins to make it through this entire ordeal - the injury, the betrayal, the eventual return to the top of the mountain - and to then throw it all back in our faces and return to his heelish ways of old, would have the potential to go down as one of the most monumental turns in WWE history.
In my eyes, that and the fact that it would be a fitting twist given his former role as the student of the Game, would make this the perfect conclusion to this particular chapter in Seth Rollins’ career.
Besides, we can’t expect to be deprived of that evil laugh forever…
