9 Things WWE Must Do To Bring Back Causal Wrestling Fans

7. More Consistency With Storylines and Characters

One of the most frustrating aspects of watching WWE is the constant changes to storylines and character motivations. There really isn€™t any consistency ahymore, leaving fans both puzzled and annoyed. Wrestlers like The Big Show and Mark Henry have been turned heel and face and heel again so frequently that it€™s become a running-gag within the wrestling fan community. Just recently we saw Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose appear on a pleasant edition of The Highlight Reel, but, erm, remember when Chris Jericho abandoned the two back at Night of Champions? The creative team doesn€™t. Obviously characters need to change for storyline reasons, we get that, but wouldn€™t it have made more sense for the two men to grill Jericho over his decision, rather than present him with a plant and stool? It€™s these sort of inconsistencies that make for bad TV, because it just seems like the creative team isn€™t even focused on their own product. When fans switched on years ago, feuds like Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio began and grew organically and were reflective of the past. They didn't hate each other one week and crack jokes the next. Nowadays, it just feels like we€™re expected to accept changes without question and simply forget what happened prior.
