9 WWE Matches That Fell Apart On Live TV

1. Tiffany Stratton Vs Jade Cargill Vs Nia Jax (SmackDown, 26th September 2025)

A series of worst case scenarios, the conclusion to the Tiffany Stratton/Jade Cargill/Nia Jax triple threat WWE Women's Championship match on the September 26th 2025 was so multifariously botched that no finish would have fully made sense by the end - including the one that played out on television.

Things first took a turn when Cargill was busted hardway after being thrown into the steel steps by Jax, though early concerns that she may have suffered a concussion and missed another cue were unfounded, and as good as confirmed by Cargill liking a tweet saying as much days later. Everything really fell apart when Stratton failed to break up a cover attempt by Cargill on Jax, forcing Nia to kick out only to layout for a three count seconds later when Stratton made the fall. Because this would have looked unrealistic, referee Daphanie LaShaunn pulled up the count despite Jax not moving her shoulder.

Time stood still before Nia eventually put a shoulder up, but by then the crowd had completely turned on the entire match. Stratton wrapped it up with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, but nobody escaped how ugly all of this ended up.
