9 WWE Survivor Series 2020 Impulse Reactions

8. Team Raw Vs. Team SmackDown (Men)

A strange atmosphere hung over the men's Survivor Series match as the teams tried to organise themselves before the bell. On one show, a captain without power struggled to get a handle on his gang of comical giants and a wrestler named in the Speaking Out allegations. On the other, the team wasn't even finalised by the go-home edition of SmackDown and the team captain failed profoundly in the role just one year earlier.

At least it played out in the match itself.

Scoring a clean sweep victory over SmackDown's ragtag bunch, AJ Styles' Raw team organised themselves surprisingly well for a group that couldn't even get past Retribution just days earlier.

The psychology was permanently odd. There was still in-fighting on the Raw side until there wasn't, and none of it made a difference as they swept aside the blue brand from the captain onwards. Unfortunately for the celebrating victors, this wasn't a legacy moment for any of them - the match was profoundly dull and exposed (yet again) that without stakes, this whole thing is without drama.
