TNA roster lacks confidence in the creative team.

While TNA is rightly celebrating its new TV deal with AMC, it appears there is still a little bit of work to be done with the company's creative process.

When asked on the latest Fightful Select's SRS Q&A about any TNA plans to "beef up their talent or booking" following that TV deal, Sean Ross Sapp noted that a "primary" concern for current TNA talent right now is a lack of confidence in the promotion's creative.

As SRS explained:

"Creative is a primary thing of which the talent want fixed. They don't feel as much confidence in their creative, and that's not me trying to pick on TNA; it's just the very, very common reaction I got when I asked about the TV deal. I wasn't even fishing for anything like that. It was presented without instigation, so to speak, but it is definitely a thing that the talent want to see done better."

The Anthem outfit's new TV deal will see them debut on AMC on Thursday, 15 December, with there plenty of buzz surrounding this move - not least, with recent rumblings that AJ Styles may even have a chance of appearing on that episode of iMPACT.

In terms of creative, Hunter Johnston - better known to ROH fans as Delirious - is the current TNA Head of Creative, with Tommy Dreamer also a pivotal figure in the creative process. The creative team reports directly to TNA President Carlos Silva.

While there has been plenty of praise for TNA across recent months, some fans have questioned certain creative choices, most notably the decision to take the TNA World Title off Mike Santana after only 32 days, with Santana dropping the gold to Frankie Kazarian on the 13 November edition of iMPACT.
