Brock Lesnar Gets New Nickname On WWE SmackDown
It remains to be seen if WWE will make Brock's...interesting new nickname a full-time thing.
Brock Lesnar referred to himself as the "Bi-Polar Beast" on Friday's episode of SmackDown.
This, of course, was a nod towards Brock's erratic presentation - one minute, he's calm, collected and trying to disarm opponents by appearing laid back. The next, he's...Brock Lesnar and ripping doors off vehicles en route to kicking everyone's head in.
It remains to be seen whether or not WWE will continue with this new nickname, or if they'll decide against continuing with it on TV. Lesnar has been called 'The Next Big Thing', 'The Beast' and 'The Beast Incarnate' across multiple stints in the company.
'The Bi-Polar Beast' would certainly be a departure from all of those.
Some fans had affectionately started calling Lesnar "Cowboy Brock" due to his hat and fresh look. WWE didn't really go all in on that, but they might fancy this new moniker if it hits.
Friday's angle was just the latest bid to make current WWE Champion Lesnar look like the most unpredictable man on the WWE roster. It was quite excellent build towards his title vs. title showdown with Roman at WrestleMania 38.
