6. Righting His Wrongs
At WrestleMania 30 this year, Vince McMahon asked The Undertaker to drop his 21 year streak to Brock Lesnar. Taker obliged and jobbed clean. CM Punk in contrast was reportedly asked to take a loss to Triple H at WrestleMania 30. He refused. Taker in some ways has shown Punk up on this one. At the end of the day, right or wrong, you respect your employer's wishes. Punk didn't, he thought he knew better, he thought he was above the business. The self-proclaimed best in the world didn't fancy working, so instead he took off home. Coming back later in 2014 or early 2015 would see Punk achieve redemption. He doesn't want his legacy to be a guy who unprofessionally walked out on the business because he didn't fancy the creative given to him. Many talent don't like their creative. Do you think Dolph Ziggler likes his creative? Of course he doesn't, but he still turns up for work and gets on with his job. Punk right now has ended his career on a dark note, coming back he should look to correct this. Do business the right way, just like Undertaker did.
