AEW Dynamite will have stiff competition from NXT this Wednesday, with WWE’s black and gold brand set to see NXT Champion Adam Cole defending against Velveteen Dream, NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair likewise defending her title against Io Shirai, Dominik Dijakovic vs. Johnny Gargano, an appearance from Finn Balor, and the in-ring debut of Karrian Kross.

While Mondays and Fridays tend to deliver shows that are a genuine struggle to watch, Wednesday nights remain the go-to night for wrestling fans – with both AEW and NXT consistently putting on engaging, entertaining shows. And this week looks set to be no different.
