Cody Rhodes To Debut On Tonight's WWE Raw?!

Following the breadcrumbs to Cody Rhodes potentially showing up on tonight's WWE Raw.

Tonight's episode of WWE Raw could be pivotal for Cody Rhodes' pro wrestling future.

Taking place in AEW's home base of Jacksonville, Florida, the optics alone make it a great show to re-debut Tony Khan's former Executive Vice President on. In fact, the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reported last week that Raw's 14 March episode was the one WWE had pinpointed for Rhodes' comeback. If it didn't happen then, Meltzer reported it may indicate that the two parties aren't yet close to striking a deal.

The ever-changing saga has taken a number of twists and turns over the past few weeks. Most recently, it has been revealed that while Rhodes still has multiple offers on the table, he is listed internally for a WrestleMania 38 bout with Seth Rollins.

While that 'Mania bout hasn't been confirmed yet, WWE is running out of time to build to it. This year's Show of Shows takes place in Dallas, Texas on 2 and 3 April. This short window should, in theory, expedite Cody's debut and the Rollins feud, though there's currently no indication that a deal has even been struck yet.

Rhodes has been linked heavily to a WWE comeback since leaving AEW on 15 February. He had previously been with the market leaders from 2006 to 2016, when he requested (and was granted) his release.
