How AEW Collision Will SOLVE Wrestling's Biggest Problem

AEW Collision isn't guaranteed to fix all of the company's problems in an instant, but this new Saturday show will at least allow Tony Khan's promotion to make better use of its roster.

Purportedly set to involve a loose roster split of sorts, the introduction of Collision will provide another two hours of TV for the AEW roster to play with. If certain talents are to mainly be featured solely on either Dynamite or Collision, that in itself frees up more space on those respective cards for underutilised talents to be featured in.

Already, the belief is that CM Punk, FTR, Thunder Rosa, Miro and possibly the Jericho Appreciation Society will be largely used as Collision stars. That not only frees up some space on the Dynamite side of things, but it finally brings Miro back to TV in a meaningful way, while also allowing purported "problem children" Punk and Rosa the chance to breathe away from their troubles with the Elite and Britt Baker.

In theory, AEW Collision should help towards fixing one of the promotion's biggest issues right now - that being AEW's huge roster - by simply providing a platform for more wrestlers to have some time in the spotlight. As ever, any such success from this depends on a) how the show and its talents are booked, and b) whether the talents in question make the most of their minutes, but Collision could and should prove to be the ace up his sleeve that Tony Khan needs right now.
