Kurt Angle's WWE Future To Be Announced On Next Week's Raw
An in-ring return could finally be on the cards...
Kurt Angle will announce details regarding his future on next week's Raw in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Raw GM closed out this past Monday's show by telling a mystery person he loved them and revealing that he must go public next week, even if that means he has to say goodbye to WWE or risk losing his family.
This will be the culmination of Angle's ongoing storyline with Raw announcer Corey Graves and could signal the end of his tenure as General Manager, but it may also be the start of his long-awaited return to the WWE ring.
There's much speculation that either Stephanie McMahon or (bizarrely) ex-TNA President Dixie Carter will appear in person on Raw to get the ball rolling; Carter did appear as a talking head on the recent WWE 24 special telling the tale of Angle's personal redemption and WWE return.
The internet has speculated all summer over a possible Kurt Angle vs. Triple H showdown at SummerSlam. That would be a huge marquee match for the pay-per-view, but does it come too soon for Kurt? A slow build towards his in-ring comeback may be better.
