Ranking Every Wrestling Wedding EVER!

13. Sister Sherri And Colonel Parker

WCW was five months away from blowing up the wrestling world at Bash at the Beach with the nWo, but this segment at Clash of the Champions in Jan. of 1996 feels like it was straight out of the WWF in the mid-1980s.

Colonel Parker showed up late to the chapel and was out of money. He tried to get $50 from Gene Okerlund, who was on-hand to give us the play-by-play. Later Parker quoted it as $30...he may have messed up his lines. The prestigious guest list for the ceremony featured Booker T, Stevie Ray and Disco Inferno. Sadly, due to Parker losing some money while gambling he couldn’t afford the actual chapel, so they had to go through the drive through. The wrestlers humming the wedding march as Parker and Martel made their way to the window was pretty funny.

However, just as the happy couple were about to make things official, Madusa emerged and started a brawl with Sherri, because she was actually married to Parker in the story. A few months later, Madusa and Parker had a match at Uncensored, which saw the manager go over. However, they fought two more times on TV with Madusa finally getting her big win...by count out.

Tony Schiavone ended the initial wedding segment with “This has broken down. This is horrible.” Well, that's a bit harsh, but not too far off the mark.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
