JB(radshaw)L is an easy guy to forget about when it comes to his title reigns, partly because he wasn't the most dynamic guy in the ring and partly because he was an absolute d*** backstage. He's not exactly the easiest guy to root for, is the point.
As one half of the Acolytes, Bradshaw was able to entertain the masses with his brooding intensity, ultra-powerful clotheslines, and complete disregard for other people's physical well-being. His stock rose dramatically when he and Faarooq broke away from the Ministry of Darkness and started the Acolyte Protection Agency, which let them have some fun with their badass image after so many years of total seriousness.
The APA could put themselves alongside The New Age Outlaws as one of the most entertaining tag teams of the era.
As a singles competitor, he underwent a drastic reformation as the supremely punchable, Stetson-wearing JBL. Say what you want about his personality (it was awful), but he had a solid heel run as the WWE Champion, running the show for almost an entire year before dropping the belt to get John Cena over.
If nothing else, he'll be remembered as the guy who pushed Cena into the stratosphere. That, and his shockingly brutal matches with Eddie Guerrero.
