THE X DIVISION

Next up we'll look at the X Division, the spectacle that once made TNA simply unmissable TV. The key here is to make it as unmissable as it once was, and move the matches up the card for heavens sake.
Chris Sabin When he's not injured Sabin should be a focal point of the X Division. He has a unique look, greta move set and is exciting to watch. In fact, if WWE treated smaller athletes better I'd push for him to switch companies but for now he's better off where he is and for that reason I'd make sure he was part of the plans to increase the importance of the division, meaning he would actually want to stay in TNA when his contract runs out.
Christopher Daniels Christopher Daniels is one of those guys you could slip in and out of main events etc but he's best suited to the X Division in a heel role. He could also be used as Curry Man or even Suicide if required, and despite his age can still move like he was in his early 20's. Daniels should be used to build up some new stars while also keeping himself in the title picture.
Doug Williams Doug Williams has a unique style, a stocky thuggish look and some of the best facial expressions in the business. He's a fantastic snooty heel and can also play the babyface very well. His anti-X Division antics a couple of years ago were some of the divisions best moments in a long time and he should be seriously considered for a full time return to television.
Jesse Sorrensen Popular, exciting young man with a bright future. He currently has beef with the X Division Champion - it's just a shame he's on the injured list. Look for him to be a big money player for the X Division when he returns.
Kazarian Just like Daniels, Kaz is a reliable veteran that can be used to both carry the division and help build new names. A few years back I'd have pushed for Frankie K to be fed into the main event scene but he's probably found his calling in the lower upper mid-card and is still a great talent to watch compete. Kaarian could also be called upon to play Suicide should the need arise.
Magnus You don't usually think of Magnus as an X Division wrestler but to be honest where exactly does he fit in? Magnus is one of the best talents the company has and if he can't find his way into the main event (yet) then the X Division should be his new home. He has a unique move set (like Williams), is a great character and is still very young. If Magnus hasn't held some kind of singles gold by the end of 2013 I'll eat my laptop.
Samoa Joe Samoa Joe was a tough choice. I think he should be in the main event, but I also think he should be used as the centre piece for the X Division. He is simply awesome when used correctly and this would be a great way to rebuild his stock after a damaging few years. Joe is unlikely to remain with TNA when his contract expires, and why the hell should he? What have they done for him lately? Make Joe an unstoppable killing machine again, build the X Division around him and then watch him shine. When he's done, promote him back to permanent main events, and in the meantime use him when he's needed.
Zema Ion I don;t see a lot in Zema, but someone obviously does and he has great heat. Keep him in the division but probably not as champion and let's see how good he is in 12 months time. Am I missing something here? Please let me know in the comments. I would also strike deals with as many other indy feds as I could and utilise their rosters for X Division matches - or open invitationals etc. There's no need to keep flying Mark Haskins over (he sucks) and Robbie E has no use except as a jobber so it'd be guys from outside I'd be looking at. Oh, and there's also Kenny King to consider - the recent signing from ROH - and a batch of ex X Division wrestlers to chose from, even on one time deals.
