The way this match ended upset some fans, but I for one was eternally grateful for the interference from former Daily Show host and genuine WWE fan Jon Stewart. Just as it looked like Cena was going to be the one to dethrone Rollins, his appearance (which featured a great twist when he attacked Cena) saw Rollins make history by becoming the first man to hold both the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and United States Championship at the same time, and that's a moment which is sure to remain one of the most significant in his career for a long time to come. Of course, the match itself was also downright incredible. With the added drama of Rollins having broken Cena's nose weeks before, these two put on an absolute clinic, and of all the encounters they had this summer - all of which were A+ matches - this was by far the best. Thanks to plenty of near falls and a well told story, this is a match which should have had fans on the edge of their seats throughout. To give credit where its due, Cena also brought a hell of a lot to the table here, and however much we may all complain about him, this one proved that he's capable of delivering greatness with the right opponent. That right opponent was Rollins, and make no mistake about it, this historic match at SummerSlam really gave him the chance to show off what an incredible performer he is in easily his best title defence to date.
