Nothing says 'evil' quite like setting fire to teddy bears.

In 1999 Undertaker seemed hell bent on making Mr. McMahon's life something akin to hell, targeting the Genetic Jackhammer in increasingly psychologically damaging ways. Sure, he attacked Vince physically too, but it was the mind games that truly shocked during this period.

The pinnacle of these mind games came at the climax of the first ever Inferno Match on RAW, where Taker took on his baby brother Kane. Taker was victorious, but it was his post-match antics that would reduce the Chairman of the Board to tears.

Taker presented Vince with a teddy bear, a cuddly bear that he had set alight. It transpired that this was the childhood teddy of Vince's daughter Stephanie, and it was enough to reduce the most powerful man in professional wrestling to a sobbing wreck.

It still stands strong as a powerful visual to this day.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
