This WWE Wrestler Was "Surprised" By Brock Lesnar's Comedic Timing

Who knew that Brock Lesnar could be so funny and light-hearted? Not this WWE star.

Sami Zayn was "as surprised as anybody" that Brock Lesnar had such great comedic timing when they worked some segments together late-last year.

The former three-time Intercontinental Champion, who wrestles Johnny Knoxville at WrestleMania 38, told the New York Post that he was taken aback by how comfortable Lesnar was in that setting. In fact, he "really didn't expect" Brock to excel in comedy skits with him, or even want to do them.

'The Beast' was all in though, and Sami was pleased by how well his own character acted as foil for Brock's newfound lighter side. WWE went on to ham Lesnar up further, stick a cowboy hat on him and present the WWE Champion as an unpredictable menace perfect for getting underneath Roman Reigns' skin.

Zayn helped prep Brock for that, which he was only too happy to do.

Sami would also like to do more with Lesnar on-screen if WWE creative is ever interested - he thinks they could do some great things together in-ring if they were given the chance. That could be something the company comes back to later in the year.
