This wrestling legend appears as the father of Karrion Kross in new video.

The legendary Kevin Sullivan is featured in the latest video on Karrion Kross' YouTube channel.

Most wrestling fans will remember Sullivan for his spell in WCW in the '90s, though the nowadays-73-year-old had an in-ring career that dates back to 1970. In Kross' video - titled Name of the Father - the legend actually plays a priest who is the father of the two-time NXT Champion.

As you can see for yourself, 'Kevin' Kross visits his old man for some advice on a creepy book that's missing a vital page. While Sullivan does his best to give advice to his son, this puts the former Taskmaster up against the sinister charm of Scarlett Bourdeaux.

Sullivan first made a name for himself in Championship Wrestling from Florida, and he'd also impress in the likes of Georgia and Memphis. It was under his villainous cult leader Prince of Darkness gimmick that the Massachusetts native saw his stock rise in CWF in the '80s, as he battled the likes of Dusty Rhodes and Barry Windham.

Upon landing in Jim Crockett Promotions in 1987, Sullivan took Mike Rotunda and Rick Steiner under his wing to form the Varsity Club. That group would eventually add 'Dr. Death' Steve Williams and Dan Spivey to its ranks, and Kevin would follow that faction up with his Sullivan's Slaughterhouse stable - which featured Buzz Sawyer and a certain Cactus Jack - towards the end of the decade.

There would be stints in Smoky Mountain Wrestling and ECW in the first half of the '90s for Kevin Sullivan, but it was his 1994 return to WCW and formation of the Three Faces of Fear and later the Dungeon of Doom that most fans will think of upon hearing Sullivan's name. Those factions both feuded with Hulk Hogan, and Sullivan himself would also have notable rivalries with both Brian Pillman and Chris Benoit during this run.

In addition to his in-ring career, Kevin Sullivan was also famously the booker of WCW during periods of the '90s, with this playing a massive part in Pillman's development of his Loose Cannon persona. Interestingly, Sullivan's last match as of this writing was against Brian Pillman Jr. in 2019.

As for Karrion Kross, he's set to face Rey Mysterio on next week's SmackDown before then competing in the men's Royal Rumble match the following night.
