WWE: 10 Reasons We Want A New WCW Nitro Reboot On WWE Network

5. Rebook The Invasion Properly This Time

Wwf Invasion The Invasion is probably the only topic in wrestling that everyone on the internet has an opinion about. It's quite obvious that the Invasion was botched and was pretty much a massive failure. All the big names WCW had to offer (Ric Flair, nWo, Scott Steiner, Eric Bischoff) were brought in after the Invasion was over and WCW was led by jobbers like Mike Awesome or WWF guys who switched sides. Relaunching Nitro gives you the chance to press the reset button on the Invasion. You can bring former WCW guys in as mouthpieces and managers to a new generation of WCW. Much like the World Championship Wrestling of the 1990s, these new WCW guys are sick of being pushed around and told they are inferior to the almighty WWE. This time, you book the whole thing totally different. Since you own the WCW brand and all of the workers, there is no problem with putting them over huge and making WCW a force to be reckoned with. Once you've established WCW as their own separate brand (with no crossing over) then a war between WCW and WWE would feel more natural. WWE even briefly created a rivalry between Raw and Smackdown when they created the Bragging Rights pay-per-view. To say they couldn't create a separate WCW brand to go against a separate WWE brand is, I believe, incorrect.
