2. A Future WWE Title Run

CM Punk really loved being the WWE Champion. His 434 day reign will go down in legend, and it will be difficult for any modern day star to ever top (especially now there is only one belt). Given how much Punk enjoyed being Champion, an offer to come back in the role of Undisputed Champ is probably going to carry some weight with the star. It doesn't even need to be anytime soon. Vince might say to Punk to take some time off and rest up. When he is ready, he can then come back to right away resuming his main event credentials. A big title match and win would be an attractive prospect. Punk could then have another substantial reign with the belt. The best way to do this would be to bring back Punk as a heel. Cast him as the selfish prima donna who turned his back on the company. Both Punk and Vince would admit that Punk is so much more effective as a heel, and in this role he could reign for over a year again. Let's be honest as well, the company has had about six months with a heel Orton headlining, and Punk could be doing so much of a better job in that role. The offer of a big heel turn and run as champion is an enticing prospect for the Second City Saviour.
