11. Vs. Christian (Raw; March 10, 2014)
WWE.comSheamus and Christian first feuded in the fall of 2011 over on the SmackDown brand. It wasn't until this past February that they rekindled their rivalry when both were announced as entrants in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match. It all started on the February 14 edition of SmackDown when Sheamus inadvertently landed a Brogue Kick on his tag team partner Christian, lighting a fire under Captain Charisma. Days later on Raw, Christian showed signs of a heel turn during his match against Daniel Bryan, whom he came up short against. Christian and Sheamus met in a match on that week's SmackDown where Sheamus emerged victorious. Afterward, Christian ambushed Sheamus from behind, cementing his return to his villainous roots and relaying the message to Sheamus that their feud was far from over. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46XAkuWTVYw They met several times in singles competition in subsequent weeks but their best bout together came on the March 10 Raw. Under Street Fight rules, Christian and Sheamus battled all around the arena, brutalizing each other with any weapon they could find. The live crowd bought into each of the near-falls and were invested in the action. Sheamus won (again), but the match proved that their chemistry is still as excellent as ever.
