WWE: 5 Awesome Attitude Era Superstars and 5 That Sucked

3. The Godfather

http://youtu.be/tagewKsKJUM Much like Hardcore Holly, The Godfather was a go-to wrestler when McMahon needed extra wrestlers to fill up the roster. After being unsuccessful as Papa Shango and Kama, The Godfather emerged. Aside from the main headliners of the Attitude Era, gimmicks like The Godfather€™s are the ones that truly epitomized what wrestling was all about during that period. Style over substance. Catchphrases being in and all, The Godfather came up with quite a few that rivaled the Rock€™s or any of the other headliners. We can also thank the Godfather for lending a hand in the T&A department. With the hoe-train in full effect, The Godfather brought on TV some of the finest ladies to grace the WWE screen. Other times, they looked like legit street walkers who were looking for their next fix. But hey, you can€™t win them all. The Godfather was rewarded for his loyalty to the company and adding even more attitude to that era, with an Intercontinental Title run.
