WWE: 6 Current Superstars Who Are (Almost) Hall Of Famers
5. New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn & Road Dogg)
Technically I cheated by putting two guys together as one selection, but when it comes to Road Dogg and Billy Gunn they have to be together for something like this. Putting them in together wouldn't be right. They should go in as a team. They're currently on the WWE roster as active participants although they are showing their age. Despite the announcers saying that Gunn is looking as good as ever, he's actually looking like a 50 year old that's 15 years past his prime. He is in shape, but he does appear to get tired too. Road Dogg will turn 45 years old this year. Both of them have other jobs with WWE since Road Dogg is part of the creative team and Gunn is part of the training staff at the Performance Center in Orlando. Based on their credentials, they absolutely deserve to be in. Their most recent tag title win at the 2014 Royal Rumble was their sixth reign as champions and when you consider that they were one of the best teams during the Attitude Era they're one of those teams that fans are going to remember forever. If they don't go in as a team, it could be something where they go in as part of the DX group. Since they put the Four Horsemen in as a group there's definitely a chance that DX could go in as a group. They could put Shawn Michaels (his second ring), Triple H, The Outlaws and X-Pac in together. Chyna too? That seems unlikely because I doubt Triple H talks to his ex-girlfriend very much. Oh you didn't know? Oh yes we actually did know. The New Age Outlaws are going to be WWE Hall of Famers.
