WWE Crown Jewel 2025: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True

2. Paul Heyman Splits From Seth Rollins

Aggro between Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins is one thing, but a full on split would be another entirely. Overall, it just feels far too soon to make this happen, doesn’t it? WWE have been teasing a power struggle on Raw and SmackDown recently. It’s unlikely to happen, but Triple H loves his surprises and moments, so maybe this will be slapped on the card to give Crown Jewel some headlines.

The nightmare here is that Heyman is the one who costs Seth by having Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker beat him down. That’d dump Rollins out of his own faction and leave him rudderless. Plus, he shouldn’t be a babyface again this early. Please say we aren't heading back towards the brightly-coloured outfits, all that dancing, and his obnoxious laughs. Pretty please?!

Seth is a much better character when he's serious, and he's able to do that as a heel. Turning him, or even having him exit The Vision without a proper babyface turn, would be preposterous right now. It'd send him tumbling closer to failed "Paul Heyman Guys" like Ryback or Curtis Axel than successes like Brock Lesnar, CM Punk or Roman Reigns, and no-one wants that.

WrestleMania 41's moment between Heyman and Rollins was too good to toss away after a few arguments and disagreements on TV. They must be stronger than that. WWE acts don't need to fall apart just because they're not seeing eye to eye 100% of the time. It's like tag-teams who split - why do they always need to feud rather than going their separate ways with a handshake?

Of course, Crown Jewel could use something mega to help sell it as important to 2025's story, but...
