WWE Extreme Rules 2021: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. WWE Adds One More Match

Extreme Rules also needs one more match.

Bobby Lashley battered seven shades out of Big E towards the tail-end of Raw, so it seems likely that WWE will announce a WWE Title showdown between both as a last-minute addition to the card. That'll either get confirmed on social media or be kept back for SmackDown (if it's going to happen).

Would it feel rushed? Undoubtedly, but E and Lashley have some good chemistry together. The new champ is athletic enough to bump around for Bob, and his babyface shine/comeback would be something to behold for fans in Ohio. In short, E and Lashley could do something special together if WWE let them go at it.

Maybe they, not Roman Reigns vs. 'Demon' Finn Bálor, needed the Extreme Rules branding more. Ah, f*ck it - just book this for the hell of it. It's hardly like Sunday's pay-per-view is too busy.
