Taking to Twitter, Ric Flair has announced that he and wife Wendy Barlow have opted to go their separate ways.

The Nature Boy proclaimed his thanks for all that Wendy has done to enrich his life, and asked for privacy at this time.

Having gotten engaged in 2016, Ric and Wendy formally tied the knot in 2018. In between that engagement and the wedding, Wendy was praised by Flair's close friends for playing a pivotal role in saving Naitch's life during his major health issues of 2017.

Prior to their relationship, the pair had previously worked together in WCW. There, Barlow portrayed Fifi the French Maid alongside Flair back in 1993.

Wendy was the fifth wife of the 16-time World Champion, with Ric previously married to Leslie Goodman from 1971-1983 (with whom he had Megan and David), Beth Harrell from 1983-2006 (with whom he had Ashley/Charlotte and Reid), Tiffany VanDemark from 2006-2009, and Jackie Beems from 2009-2014.

Flair's most recent WWE stint came to an end last August, with him since making one-off appearances for both AAA and NWA after departing Vince McMahon's sports entertainment juggernaut.
