WWE NXT Tag Team Set For Split

This NXT tandem is soon expected to go their separate ways.

The tandem of Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley will soon be no more.

Via the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, as has been teased on NXT programming recently, the current plan is for Nile and Paxley to split. It's expected that Paxley will turn heel as part of this break up.

It's just over a year since Ivy and Tatum first teamed together, with that outing coming on the 18 February 2022 edition of NXT Level Up as the two defeated Fallon Henley and Kiana James. As it stands, Nile and Paxley's most recent match was on the 24 January 2023 episode of NXT, where interestingly they lost to Henley and James.

The belief is that Tatum Paxley was put with Ivy Nile as a way for Paxley to improve. Seemingly, the minds behind NXT have seen enough improvement in the 26-year-old for her to now branch out on her own.

While the Observer notes how a split is on the way for this team, no timescale has been given at this point. Considering the recent split of Toxic Attraction, it may well be that NXT won't want to serve up another tag team split so soon, particularly if it's a split which involves one partner turning on the other.
