8. Wrestlemania 2 - (The "Steels Cage " Brother)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYgVh9KUrT0 Going into Wrestlemania 2, Hulk Hogan had been brutalized by King Kong Bundy and Don Muraco leading up to the epic clash. Hogan, billed at 302 lbs at the time, was considered the smaller man as Bundy tipped the scales at an earthshaking 468 lbs. If one is looking for technical mastery this is not the match they should watch. Hogan was solidifying his larger than life presence still, and nothing made this more apparent than his entrance where he scaled the "Steels Cage." Hogan was 15 feet high in the air as he ripped off his shirt and flexed for the crowd, its awe inspiring. Bundy donned the crimson mask early into the match, as both men traded offense and cage escape attempts. Hogan shows awesome power with a Randy Orton style powerslam on King Kong. The camera angles told the story well from a television perspective. In the end, Hogan scales the cage and escapes to the floor to retain the title. Bobby Heenan, who was a thorn in Hogan's side from this point forward, got a taste of the Hulkster as he was chased inside the cage for a beatdown. This was an enjoyable match, as it put over Hogan's power, ability to fight through injury and what would become a familiar theme in most Hogan matches, beating an unstoppable monster. However, Hogan's run of excellence in the upcoming years prevent this moment from rising any higher.
