WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (Feb 15)

5. "Wins And Losses Are More Important Than Ever!"

Just before Summer Rae scored a surprising (and questionable) win over two-time Divas' Champion Paige, JBL upped the stakes by pointing out that it's WrestleMania season, and as such, wins and losses matter more than ever. It gave a surprising finish a bit more gravity, and while it's unknown how (or if) the company will follow up on Summer Rae's victory, it felt important in the moment. JBL's line feels out of place, though, when compared to some off-camera remarks from a company representative. "Road Dogg" Jesse James, current WWE producer and the rumored creative force behind Smackdown!, had an odd reply when a fan pointed out that Kevin Owens loses often. Road Dogg tweeted "wins and losses don't count, it's about character and he's a winner!" Road Dogg further clarified, saying that WWE is "not real competition." Needless to say, most fans would rather that JBL's point of view is the one promoted by the company, and the discrepancy between WWE's viewpoints on- and off-screen is bizarre at best.
