Emma upped her game this week, claiming to have 'single handedly' started the women's revolution in WWE in an upgrade to her braggadocios self-aggrandising from recent weeks.

It was a subtle steer for audiences that may not have been aware of her spectacular match with Paige at NXT's first ever live special 'Arrival' way back in February 2014. The 'Anti-Diva' has been persona non grata since 2016, which could imply why current creative canon awards all the credit for the barnburner to the Aussie star. However, maybe Emma has dropped this in to restart that exact feud.

There will little left for her following what should be a decisive loss to Asuka at Sunday's supershow, but Paige's return has appeared increasingly likely in recent months. Her physical and mental rehabiliation from a difficult twelve months has been encouraging, and the decision to erase her contributions entirely may actually be the loudest statement of her eventual return.
