WWE Raw Results 21/5/12 - Big Show Knocks Out John Cena

Last night's WWE RAW SuperShow results from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. The event took place just one night after WWE Over The Limit's pay-per-view.

John Cena's music hits and he opens the show, coming down to the ring with a serious look on his face. He congratulates John Laurinaitis on his win last night and the only explanation he can come up with for Big Show's actions was that he had sold out. Cena says Show shouldn't have worried as he would have been re-hired by whomever took over from Laurinaitis when he got fired.

Laurinaitis comes out in a handicap scooter with Eve Torres by his side. He gets to his feet with crutches and reveals he was sent to hospital last night because his injuries were so bad. He says if Cena or anyone else ever lays a hand on him they would be immediately fired. He then announces that he has re-hired Big Show after his actions last night and has given him a big bonus. He then announces Big Show vs John Cena for WWE No Way Out pay-per-view next month.

Show comes out next to a chorus of boos. The crowd tells him he sucks. He says everyone wants an explanation but they are not entitled to one. He begged for his job last week and nobody loves this business more than him and he did what he had to do. Crowd chant sell out. He says after 18 years he got nothing in return after he was hired. He says there will be No Way Out for Cena as he will strike him down with the WMD punch come next month.

Show walks to the back and David Otunga comes out. He says it is time for Cena to lose now.

1) John Cena defeats David Otunga with the STF.

Post-match, Cena won't let go of the hold until Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil rush the ring and attack him. They team up on Cena until World Heavyweight Champ Sheamus comes running down for the save. Sheamus and Cena empty the ring together but Laurinaitis says they didn't have permission to do that. He makes Sheamus & Cena vs. 3 Other WWE Superstars in a 2 on 3 Handicap Lumberjack match for later tonight.

Ricardo Rodriguez announces Alberto Del Rio but is interrupted by WWE US Champion Santino Marella. He says he can't understand what Ricardo is saying because his accent is ridiculous. He makes fun of Del Rio before the forthcoming match.

2) Randy Orton defeated Alberto Del Rio by DQ when Chris Jericho interrupts and gives Orton the Codebreaker.

The crowd chants "You Suck" at Y2J as he stands over Orton. Jericho says he is the best in the world at what he does. He trash talks and beats down Orton, giving him two further Codebreakers.

Daniel Bryan comes out and says it was an injustice last night and that he should be the new WWE Champion. He shows footage of CM Punk tapping out and that he demands a rematch with WWE Champion CM Punk. Punk instead shows footage of what happened on SmackDown last week and introduces Kane as Bryan's opponent for tonight.

3) Daniel Bryan defeated Kane by DQ when Kane hits chair on Bryan thanks to Punk's interference.

Post-match Kane chokeslams Bryan before Punk applies the Anaconda Vice that makes Bryan tap out. Punk then mocks Bryan with the YES! chants.

AJ Lee is backstage and stops CM Punk. She says he very much enjoyed watching how he beat up Bryan. He says that she's not crazy but sadistic before Lee starts to cry. Punk isn't sure what to do but does hug her and says everyone will be fine. He tells her to stop and then says he sorts of digs crazy chicks.

Footage of Heyman and Triple H's confrontation last week plays. We find out that HHH is meeting with WWE's legal team this week to see what he can do about the Heyman and Lesnar situation.

4) IC Champion Christian defeated Jinder Mahal with a big splash in a non-title match.

5) Beth Phoenix defeated Kelly Kelly with the Glam Slam with Layla watching backstage.

6) Handicap Lumberjack Match Sheamus & John Cena vs Lord Tensai, Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler goes to a non-contest when almost all WWE backstage locker room interfere in mass brawl.

Raw ends with Big Show hitting the knockout punch to John Laurinaitis as the show goes off the air.
