WWE Reveals Roman Reigns' New Undisputed Title Belt On SmackDown

Triple H was the one to reveal that shiny new WWE Undisputed Championship.

WWE debuted the brand new Undisputed Title belt Roman Reigns will wear going forwards on Friday's episode of SmackDown.

Triple H strapped the new title on Roman during the champ's 1,000 day celebrations in-ring. The core design is pretty much identical to both the WWE and Universal straps Reigns was carting about with him, but they went heavy on the gold motif instead of black or blue.

Predictably, the new belt is already splitting opinions on social media. Some think it's befitting of the 'Tribal Chief', whereas others are disappointed that WWE didn't use this as an excuse to introduce a totally different look for the top prize.

The promotion moved on swiftly anyway. Reigns went from posing with his new Undisputed Title to dealing with more friction in the ranks of The Bloodline. Solo Sikoa eventually nailed his brother Jimmy Uso with a Samoan Spike to end the segment, which suggests that Roman and Solo vs. The Usos is incoming on a PLE near you rather soon.

WWE's plot thickens, basically. So, mind you, did the gold plating on Reigns' all-encompassing and divisive new championship.
