WWE Royal Rumble: Best Performances From Every Entry Slot
7. Triple H - 2009
Triple H joins both Ted DiBiase and Randy Orton on this list, meaning three out of the final four participants in the 2009 Rumble hold the record for their respective entry slots. The Game entered at No. 7, outlasting every man but his former Evolution partner, Randy Orton.
When Triple H made his way to the ring, Vladimir Kozlov had been dominating, eliminating The Great Khali, MVP, and Carlito in under two minutes. Yet Kozlov was no match for The Game, lasting less than a minute before being thrown over the top by the 2002 winner.
The eliminations of The Miz and John Morrison soon followed, and just seconds after entering at No. 26, Brian Kendrick was also tossed over the top rope by The Cerebral Assassin.
Helmsley heroicly fought off a three on one handicap in the final four, eliminating Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes before eventually being eliminated by Orton after 50 minutes of action. Despite falling short of victory, his 2002 performance is certainly one Triple H can be proud of.
