'The Biggest Party of the Summer' hasn't been moved or rescheduled... yet.

WWE SummerSlam 2020 is still set to go down in Boston, Massachusetts' TD Garden arena as scheduled on 23 August.

This is according to a note in today's Cageside Seats Rumor Roundup column stating that the venue hasn't "heard anything from WWE about changes to the plans for SummerSlam," though the rapidly-changing global health crisis means this may not be the case a few weeks or months from now.

Four months are to pass before WWE reaches its 'Biggest Party of the Summer.' While blasting out of the empty arena era with one of the grandest shows of the year would be the most wonderful catharsis, there's no way of telling if sporting organisations will be safe to host large-scale attended events by that point, with some health experts suggesting full crowds may not return until 2021. Grim.

WWE's next pay-per-view, Money In The Bank 2020, was largely filmed at the company's Stamford, Connecticut headquarters. The promotion plans on recording all televised content through 10 July at the Performance Center and will began an elaborate taping schedule this coming Saturday (25 April).
