WWE SummerSlam 2014: 10 Cameos We Most Want To See

1. Daniel Bryan

WWE.comWWE.comThis list has had several unlikely returns (Punk, Sting) some potential hosts (Hogan and The Rock) and several floating around potential winners of the proposed Cena/Lesnar match-up. All could either add something on the night or provide some form of GM storyline in the future. The return of Daniel Bryan would both be relevant and might be much needed if Lesnar beats Cena. Who is the next hero to try and take on The Beast short of Roman Reigns? Obviously, no-one wants Bryan to come back until he is fully fit which is why this return might be the biggest risk on the list if the second operation is needed on his neck. If a return was to happen though, we have several reasons to be excited. The €˜Yes!€™ chants are fading away slightly but a return for an angry Daniel Bryan would be much applauded. He apparently has to change his in-ring style so a much harder ground attack would fit with a wronged man who will not only try to take down The Authority once and for all but, if he was put into a programme with Lesnar, would be necessary if we are to believe he is a threat to The Beast. Also, it would get us away from the €˜smiling€™ champ Bryan had become. We need an €˜angry young man€™ in the company and Bryan is our best bet moving forward. He could even cause havoc backstage and take down Orton during a Reigns match before attacking Lesnar after his potential win. All of this would point towards a man on the edge, but one we could still cheer to the rafters. Ten potential cameos with many possibilities. Yes, a lot of them revolve around the winner of the rumoured Lesnar/Cena match but, realistically any of them could still happen. The biggest problem would be how they could work long-term beyond €˜hosting€™ or €˜smiling and waving€™ at the crowd. A big-name cameo at SummerSlam could steal the show, it just depends on how it€™s handled.
