WWE SummerSlam 2014: 10 Cameos We Most Want To See

7. The Undertaker

WWE.comWWE.comHopefully, that painful stagger up that New Orleans ramp will not be the last time we see The Deadman. We€™ve heard nothing from WWE management and there€™s been very little internet gossip too. Taker was badly beaten up that night, receiving an early concussion which meant Brock had to carry the match for almost fifteen minutes. He was then transported to the hospital, with Vince beside him, and, bar a video of him leaving the hotel the next day, there€™s been nothing. Retirement is surely on the cards. Taker has nothing more to prove and we all want him to have a great life in retirement. How will he bow out though? Well, if there is a last match left in him, how about avenging the man who broke The Streak and humiliating his sound-piece in Paul Heyman? It doesn€™t even have to be for the title, it could just be for revenge. If Lesnar wins and then potentially carries the title through to the Rumble, or even Mania, on a part-time contract, he might need some non-title feuds and Taker at Survivor Series would make perfect sense. Taker debuted at Survivor Series and it has often been a PPV synonymous with The Deadman. Yes, the event itself is not what it was but a potential retirement non-title match would draw huge for the company in the quiet time of the autumn. Due to the Network, they need big pick-ups and this would do that. Lesnar winning the title before the gong sounds and Taker appears. That€™s all it would take. From there, over the next few months, the gong could sound before the eventual Survivor Series match. Taker would win cleanly and retire anyway. No title on the line and we get the match that The Deadman wanted to give us at WrestleMania XXX.
