A less dramatic but equally effective gimmick WWE could consider is a straightforward no disqualification match. The company may view Lesnar and Taker as a bout that would be hurt by too many bells and whistles. Two tough brawlers like 'The Deadman' and 'The Beast' just need to be allowed to go at it in a fight. The No DQ contest would allow that. There isn't any of the fancy stipulations of a casket or buried alive match, the wrestlers could simply clash in a contest to beat the other up until they cant continue. The anything goes concept adds to the possible drama, as it tells the audience that this story is so heated it can't simply be contained in the rules of a traditional match-up. We get the prestige of a one on one match with all the luster of a gimmick match, augmented by the fact that no-one smashes a chair shot quite like the Undertaker. Simply put, allowing weapon shots between these two brawlers would be compelling viewing for all fans.
