What Could Happen: Jey Uso feels the strain of a pressure spot and struggles to deliver the babyface performance of a lifetime against hate-filled World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. The result is a face title win that sags more than soars, and one which leaves the live crowd in Vegas wondering if Jey will ever match top in-ring singles work with his obvious star power and promos.

Why It'd Be A Nightmare: Stinking up the joint would become a bit of a trend for Jey.

Sadly, last year's brother vs. brother effort vs. Jimmy failed to really get going on night one at 'Mania 40. It was around 11 minutes of samey superkick spots that played before a live crowd who were clearly waiting around for something better. That never came. Going back to back on in-ring flops would be disastrous for Uso; he really cannot afford to bring anything but his 'A' game to Allegiant Stadium.

Everyone knows that Gunther will be well-prepared to enter another pro wrestling masterclass. That's just what the current champ does. He's a grappling machine, but he's been finding his feet on the mic over his past couple of feuds. However, if this is more Saturday Night's Main Event fare, then it won't light up WrestleMania enough to cement Jey as a top liner.

That's surely the goal. To achieve it, Uso will need to have more in his locker than he did when working a superkick party The Young Bucks would've been proud of in 2024. The heat is on, never mind the yeet.
