Dolph Ziggler's one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE amongst online fans as well as the casual fan. He's always had a great connection with fans because they admire how hard he works to be a successful wrestler. As a smaller guy, he's had to fight really hard to reach the top. We've also seen the former two time World Champion struggle to stay on top when he got there. His first World Title win was a heel on the Smackdown brand when the GM Vickie Guerrero stripped Edge of the World Title and gave it to Ziggler on the February 15, 2011 edition of Smackdown. Ziggler's reign was so short that if you missed the episode then you don't remember it. Still, it's officially recognized as a World Title reign. The second World Title reign for Ziggler was a lot more memorable because got to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Alberto Del Rio on the Raw after WrestleMania 29. That reign looked like it was going to last a long time, but he suffered a concussion during his run and the decision was made to put the put the World Title back on Del Rio. That move angered a lot of Ziggler's fans. It also made him a much more sympathetic figure. When Ziggler wrestled in college he was 165 pounds, so he's put on about 50 pounds of muscle during his career in WWE. Hopefully he can become a WWE Champion although with a lot of younger guys coming up it's going to be tough. He's not old at age 34, but he's been around a long time.
