10 Beloved DC Comics Due For A Comeback

Worlds Finest is the comic series telling the stories of the meetings between the most powerful characters in the DC Universe - Superman and Batman. Sorry, not powerful, popular. Yeah, popular.

The series has at time branched out to include other heroes, like Huntress and Powergirl, the Earth-2 children of Batman and Superman, and even Green Lantern or The Flash. But at its heart, its a Batman and Superman series.

Sadly, we haven't seen a lot of Batman and Superman hanging out together in recent years. Especially because the two are more alike than ever - both being parents of young children following in their footsteps. (Those kids have their own comic, by the way, just not the dads.) But we haven't seen the Batman and the Superman talk problems together for a long time.

It's been long enough. And besides, when it comes back it could feature other heroes as well, it would be a neat way to bring back all the stories and characters that the DC Universe is missing - have an anthology series that could have Black Adam and Gotham Central, Voodoo and the Legion. Showing that not just Batman or Superman, or both, are the Worlds Finest, but that all of the heroes of the DC Universe are.
