10 Best Comic Book Moments Of 2019

The new House of X series has so many iconic moments within it, it's pretty difficult to narrow down just one.

But, when you think about how much the X-Men are a group who have been beaten down, made out to be monsters, and generally mistreated because of their mutant status, one scene suddenly becomes clearly far, far more powerful.

Because in issue five, when we first see the ritual that takes place after the dead X-Men are brought back to life, everyone who has moved to the new mutant nation of Krakoa joins together to welcome back their formerly dead brethren, in a surprisingly powerful moment.

Seeing the fists of the various different mutants raised in solidarity is genuinely touching, as you know that these figures from vastly different walks of life have all been brought together by the prejudice they've all experienced, and that despite this, they're still fiercely proud of who they are.
