10 Best Superhero Successors

While there have been many Batmen over the years (one other great example being Terry McGinis) the only true successor to Bruce Wayne has and always will be Dick Grayson.

The fact that Grayson has even become the Bat is a miracle in itself, with the many falling outs he and Bruce have had over the years, and Dick's constant trying to escape the shadow of his mentor, but that just makes his time under the cowl even more impressive. During one of his stints as the Batman, he managed to earn the trust and guide Damian Wayne (Bruce's only biological child) down a better path, away from his old League of Assassins' ways.

And though Dick's usual role as Nightwing makes for a very enjoyable read, if the time ever came where Bruce were to leave the DC Universe, it would be a tragedy if anyone else were to replace him as the Bat - I mean, who else would he choose, Jean Paul Valley?
