5. The Joker (DC Comics)
DC ComicsThe Joker is undoubtedly one of the nuttiest, most insane, unbalanced and outright weird villains in comic books - and his costume epitomises that in no uncertain terms. Classically, he is dressed like a clown who is trying to be stylish (and somewhat succeeding in doing so), wearing a bright purple suit, bright yellow shirt, green waistcoat and bow tie, white gloves, with white face paint, red lipstick and bright green hair - with a yellow flower as a complement to the look (which also doubles up as a trick item, spraying enemies with whatever he decides to stock it with that day). It's funny, but it's terrifying at the same time. If you saw a man dressed like this in the real world, you'd be extremely wary of him, as only the maddest of people would have the gall and audacity to wear such an outfit in public. However, it totally works for the Joker and he looks pretty damn awesome.
