9. Christopher Priest & Ryan Sook
Outside of Batman-related books, DC's other titles don't seem to get massive amounts of attention, even if one of them happens to be a Christopher Priest written Deathstroke comic.
Priest is best known for his work on Black Panther back in the Marvel Knights era of the 1990s, a run that made him the name in comics he is today due to how well-received the series was. The writer now presides over DC's Terminator in one of the character's most lauded outings, making him a prime candidate to helm a Batman relaunch next year.
With both T'Challa and Slade, Priest revitalised and expanded upon their mythos - a treatment that Batman seems on the cusp of receiving next year.
Who should join Priest on art? Ryan Sook. Sook's art can be seen above, in one of his many fabulous Deathstroke covers, and it would be great to see him handle interiors on a more frequent basis with Batman.
